Maria Eduarda earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2020 and recognized with the Hope Pro Bono Challenge Award for her commitment to social justice. During law school she practiced in the Immigration Clinic and participated in the Miami-Leipzig program addressing international legal issues. Before law school, she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Florida International University, a foundation that directly informs her work advising Brazilian and Latin American companies on U.S. market entry strategies, executive transfers, and investor visa pathways. Her academic background in international business, combined with hands-on immigration practice, positions her uniquely to guide companies navigating the intersection of cross-border business expansion and U.S. immigration law.

 

A former competitive student-athlete who played tennis at national and international levels, Maria Eduarda co-founded Unbox Sports, where she oversees all legal matters. This experience gives her a distinctive edge in representing athletes, sports executives, and sports industry clients pursuing O visas, P visas for internationally recognized athletes, and employment-based immigration for sports professionals.
